Beau's hilarious Footy Show farewell

//

True to form, Beau Ryan has farewelled Channel Nine’s The NRL Footy Show with a sprinkling of his trademark brand of humour.

After 25 years on air, Nine today announced the show would not return in 2019, as the broadcaster revolutionises its coverage of rugby league moving into the future.

Nine’s Director of Sport Tom Malone celebrated the “incredible ride” filled with “a quarter of a century of laughs, controversy and first-class footy analysis”, but Ryan went one step further.

“Thanks 4 the memories, & if anyone needs me I’ll be halfway up the Centrelink queue,” Ryan tweeted alongside a photo of co-hosts Paul Vautin, Erin Molan and Darryl Brohman.
