Kiwis perform rousing haka to Liverpool stars

//

Some of Liverpool's stars have had the opportunity to be on the receiving end of a fearsome haka as the New Zealand Kiwis paid a visit to the club's headquarters.

The Kiwis performed after using Liverpool's training facilities at Melwood and were led by captain Adam Blair and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak.

Following the haka, Liverpool stars Dejan Lovren, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alberto Moreno gave the Kiwis an applause.

Kiwis coach Michael Maguire and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp also exchanged jerseys as gifts for each team.

The Kiwis were in Liverpool as a part of their tour of the UK which sees them playing three Tests, including the second Test which will be played on the iconic Liverpool home ground Anfield.

The Kiwis will then head to Leeds for the third Test.

New Zealand is hoping to tie up the series at Anfield after suffering a 18-16 loss in the first Test in Hull.
