Redzel defends Everest title

//

Redzel has won the world's richest race on turf for the second time, taking out the $13 million Everest at Randwick.

Leading all the way for jockey Kerrin McEvoy and co-trainers Peter and Paul Snowden, Redzel gave nothing else a chance in the 1200m sprint.

The speedster cleared out turning into the straight and held on to beat Trapeze Artist and Osborne Bulls.

More to come.
