Suns' Hall requests AFL trade

//

Gold Coast midfielder Aaron Hall has confirmed he wants an AFL trade to North Melbourne.

He joins Port Adelaide onballer Jared Polec in nominating North a his preferred new club.

There is also strong speculation that Andrew Gaff's decision on his future has come down to staying at West Coast or going to the Kangaroos.

Hall, 27, only managed six games this season because of injury for a career total of 103.

He said wanting to play finals was a big motivation for seeking the move.

Hall is also a Tasmanian native and North's strong Hobart connection also influenced the decision.

The Suns have lost free agent Tom Lynch, who has nominated Richmond as his preferred club.

There is also strong speculation that fellow co-captain Steven May will seek a trade to a Victorian club.
