Vettel's hilarious radio message to Ferarri team

//

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel has caused a social media stir after a hilarious radio exchange with his team during the Brazil Grand Prix practice session.

Vettel was racing around the track when he realised there was a screw that was loose around his legs and wanted to alert his team, but the message did not come out as intended.

"There's something loose between my legs, apart from the obvious," he said.

"So something flying around my feet.

"Around my feet, I mean, I'd be proud if it was what you think it is, but it's not!"

The four-time world champion later clarified that it was indeed a small screw that was flying around, saying that the message came out wrong.

"I think the biggest worry we had today was a little screw that came loose and was somewhere between my feet," he said. "We found it in the end!

"I said it [the message], and once I said it I thought 'no, don't get it wrong!' so I had to say it again. It was funny.

"But we found it in the end, it was a little screw."

Vettel ended the session third fastest behind the two Mercedes drivers, but was less than a tenth slower than pacesetter Valtteri Bottas.
