NBA rookie's incredible heartwarming gesture to young fan

//

Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic has shown his classy side in a terrific exchange with a young fan that he ran into during the loss to the Golden State Warriors.

With the Mavericks trailing the reigning NBA Champions in the third quarter, Doncic was attempting to finish a layup when Draymond Green's attempted block sent the Slovenian tumbling into the crowd.

After the 6'8" forward collided with the fan sitting under the basket, he incredibly ignored the play developing on the other side of the court, instead focusing his attention on the injured young fan.

Following the collision, Doncic was ruled out of the remainder of the game with a hip injury, but is unlikely to miss any time going forward.

Doncic went a step further after the game, handing the youngster a signed number 77 jersey of his that is sure to be worth a lot of money as Doncic's develops.

After being drafted with the fifth overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft, the 19-year-old Doncic has taken the NBA by storm.

30 games into his NBA career, the Slovenian star is averaging 18.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game on 43.5 percent shooting from the field (36.7 percent on threes).

Doncic's all-round game has drawn comparisons to four-time MVP LeBron James, and his stats through the early part of his career look eerily similar to James'.
