NBA star left fuming at 'b-------t' non-call

//

NBA fans have been left fuming after a horrendous non-call on Lonzo Ball resulted in a potentially dangerous fall for the second-year guard.

Ball was attempting to score an easy basket in the first half after being fed on the fast-break by LeBron James, before Washington Wizards guard John Wall attempted to block Ball.

In his endeavour to stop the Lakers point guard from scoring, Wall inadvertently took out the youngster in mid-air, opening up a potentially dangerous landing.

However, much to Ball’s amazement, despite replays showing that Wall clearly made contact with his body, there was no call, leaving the 2017 no.2 pick fuming.

Following the blown call, Spectrum Sportsnet colour commentator Stu Lantz was left baffled by the decision to not award Ball a foul.

“This is a bona-fide blown call,” Lantz said.

“I don’t know how anybody in the building, including the three guys with the whistles, can say that’s not a foul.”

Fans on Twitter had a similar reaction to Lantz with regards to the astonishing call.

The blown all was a part of a painful night for Ball and the Lakers (18-12) who fell to their eighth road defeat of the season at the hands of the Wizards (12-18).

Wall was dominant all night for Washington, finishing with 40 points, six rebounds and 14 assists in 42 action-packed minutes, while Ball was held to just 10 points on 4-of-11 shooting.
