Savage 11th-round KO ends epic fight

//

Dillian Whyte has knocked out Dereck Chisora in the 11th round of their heavyweight fight at the O2 in London on Sunday morning (AEDT).

Whyte (25-1, 18 KOs) dropped Chisora (29-9, 21 KOs) with a fearsome left hook, leaving his fellow Brit unconscious on the canvas.

Chisora, who entered the bout in excellent shape, was narrowly winning at the time of the stoppage. He was attempting to avenge a 2016 loss to Whyte but came up just short.

Whyte, aka The Body Snatcher, wants a rematch with world champion Anthony Joshua for his next fight, issuing a nasty callout after beating Chisora.

"I want that lanky piece of s--- next," Whyte said, prompting Joshua to enter the ring.

Joshua said: “The fans want me to fight [fellow world champion, Deontay] Wilder. But if we can’t get Wilder and and I knock Whyte out clean again, I don’t want to hear people say that I took the easy option.”

Joshua (22-0, 21 KOs) beat Whyte by TKO in December 2015.
