//

Acclaimed sports journalist and commentator Neroli Meadows is set to lead a new look panel as The Footy Show returns to the TV screens ahead of a blockbuster AFL season.

Meadows will be joined by Hawthorn tragic and comedian Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann, while former Carlton star Brendan Fevola and Australian Open winner Dylan Alcott will round out the panel.

You can catch the first episode of The Footy Show on Wednesday, March 20, at 9.00pm AEDT on Nine and 9Now.

With Lehmann as the revamped show’s new host, Hawthorn legend Shane Crawford will be in a brand new role which will see him visiting local clubs and community heartlands.

Lehmann expressed his excitement at being able to lead what has been the longest running live AFL entertainment show.

The Footy Show is an institution and it’s a great honour to be taking the hosting chair,” he said in a statement.

“As a passionate footy fan, I’m itching for the season to start and can’t wait to work with this incredible line-up. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
