Storm fail to shake Cronulla Sharks hoodoo

//

Cronulla have maintained their winning form over Melbourne to hand Craig Bellamy’s men their second loss of the NRL season with 20-18 win at Shark Park.

The Shark’s injury ward saw a host of fresh faces down the light-blue and while the game threatened to run away from them, Cronulla held their line to put on one of the comeback victories of the season.

By contrast Melbourne seemed a shadow of their usual selves capitulating in a lacklustre second half that saw star play-maker Cameron Munster fume at his troops at full-time.

“If we keep giving teams legs up, they’re going to make us pay,” He told Nine.

Cronulla see off Melbourne

“I’m frustrated mate, we’re playing terrible footy. We’re so much better. It’s very frustrating.

“We need to get back to the drawing board and take a hard look at ourselves.”

MORE TO COME.
