Broncos and Warriors forced to share the points

//

For the first time in three seasons a winner has fail to emerge from an NRL game as the Brisbane Broncos and New Zealand Warriors split the points in a thriller at Suncorp Stadium.

Two periods of golden point and a slew of field goal attempts wasn’t enough for either side to emerge victorious from the 18-18 deadlock.

But the Warriors will be kicking themselves for even letting Anthony Seibold’s men back into the game after they raced to a 10-point lead before the break.

Ex-Bronco Kodi Nikorima nearly iced the match upon his return to his former home ground when he bombed a 50-metre field goal inches wide of the post in the dying moments of golden point.

Broncos and Warriors held to a draw

Not since the Titans drew with Cronulla in Round 21 2016 has an NRL match finished in a tied game.

MORE TO COME.
