Roosters snare Cronk replacement from Sharks

//

Sydney Roosters have snapped up young halfback Kyle Flanagan from Cronulla on a two-year deal starting from the 2020 NRL season.

The 20-year-old son of former Sharks coach Shane Flanagan has had a breakout 2019, playing seven of his eight career NRL games for Cronulla this year.

Flanagan's signing will boost the Roosters' playmaking stocks with the impending retirement of veteran Cooper Cronk at the end of this season.
