Lions star handed first All-Australian appearance

//

Fremantle star Nat Fyfe has lauded former teammate Lachie Neale after his maiden All-Australian selection in 2019.

In his first season with the Brisbane Lions, Neale has excelled and Fyfe said the selection was well-deserved.

"We forged our careers together for a number of years there and built a close personal relationship so I was keen to see how he went," Fyfe told Fox Footy.

"I think he's taken his game to another level. What we know about Lachie is he is incredibly consistent.

"To go to a new club and impart some of his learnings on them, he is rightly named an All-Australian."
